TAMIL: Sex-for-films offer

Actress Rakul Preet, who has acted in several Tamil and Telugu films, has recently said in an interview that she did not face any offer of "sex for films", talent only takes you to the top and helps maintain that position. I have never faced such proposals in all these years". 

Tollywood actress Madhavi Latha, has claimed that Rakul was lying when she said that she never faced the proposal.

"The practice of offering sex for films is in vogue and most of the actresses are aware of this". She added, Rakul should have spoken the truth daringly and boldly instead of denying it. "It was not right for Rakul Preet to have lied".

Madhavi who has starred in Tamil film Ambala (2015), claims that her non-compromising attitude on her response to ‘sex-for-films’ offers from film-makers has resulted in her doing just eight films in 11 years. “I could have done more films if I would have submitted myself to this offer but I didn’t do so”.
