Amidst of the coronavirus emergency, stranded students abroad look up to actor Sonu Sood as messiah.
"In association with genuine and reel-life legend Sonu Sood, we are rejoining Indian students stranded in Kyrgyzstan for 4 months, with their family and friends!” The airline carrier posted on Twitter the glimpses of the happy, grateful faces on the 1st flight of this extraordinary mission.
To bring back 1,500 Indian students stranded in Kyrgyzstan because of the COVID-19 pandemic, SpiceJet has declared nine charter flights to Kyrgyzstan. The principal flight took off on Thursday to bring back 135 understudies from Bishkek to Varanasi. The carrier will work more contract departures from Bishkek to different Indian cities in the coming days.
According to reports, medical students from Jharkhand and Bihar stranded in Kyrgyzstan requested actor Sonu Sood for help via social media. To which the actor instantly responded from his twitter account and took a quick action. Then as the students from Visakhapatnam who are stranded in Kyrgyzstan, reached out to Sonu Sood he informed them that a flight had been organised to bring them back. Post lockdown, Sonu have worked constantly to help reunite Indian nationals with their families in the times of extreme crisis.
Apart from this the entertainer has launched a free of cost online platform called 'Pravasi Rojgar’. This application will give all the important data and right linkages to find jobs to workers in securing right position openings in various sectors nation over.
The online platform has more than 500 presumed organisations identified with development, clothing, social insurance, building, security, automobile, e-commerce, BPOs and logistics sectors. A helpline have been set up in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Thiruvananthapuram. The Social worker actor also gave 25,000 face shields to Maharashtra Police.
Sonu Sood’s commendable mission to rescue the migrants and help them reach their hometowns has slung to across the country spotlight. The messiah of migrants has turned writer to pen down in a book his salvage stories that are embedded in his soul.
